Recently our beloved Elle (one of the premier manicurists to the stars) used Barielle's Slate of Affairs on Blake Lively (star of Gossip Girl) for the December 2009 Marie Claire cover shoot.  Taking a break from the traditional nudes you would normally see on a magazine cover, Blake and Elle choose this beautiful "worn denim" color.  Ahhh... refreshing.
